Welcome Letters 2021

Dear ladies and gentlemen,

On behalf of the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in the Republic of Kazakhstan and on my own behalf I welcome the organizers, participants and guests of the exhibitions.

The passing of the Corona crisis phase and the gradual lifting of restrictions in most countries gives us the opportunity to return to live communication, which, as has been noted more than once, has an advantage over events held in an online format.

A wide range of participants' offers from raw materials to production is another peculiarity of the exhibition. The proposed integrated approach has been enthusiastically embraced by all parties.

The Republic of Belarus ensuring its food security, taking the way of sustainable competitive development of high-tech agro-industrial complex and having high enough potential for further dynamic development offers the participants and guests of the exhibition to get acquainted with the latest products in this field at the National exposition of the Republic of Belarus.

In the course of the large-scale congress event - "Belarus - Kazakhstan" Agrarian Forum, it is expected that the representatives of line ministries and departments, heads of enterprises, experts and specialists represent their speeches to make a practical "road map" for the development of agricultural trade between the two countries, the development of cooperation, building logistics chains and practical working schemes.

We will be glad to see guests and participants at the Belarusian stands, and invite you to get acquainted with Belarusian products and take an active part in the Agrarian Forum.

I am convinced that the event will allow the participants and guests to successfully achieve their goals, to strengthen professional
and partnership relations and to make another step to ensure food security of the state.

Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary

Envoy of the Republic of Belarus

in the Republic Kazakhstan

Pavel Utyupin

Dear ladies and gentlemen!

On behalf of the Almaty city akimat, I am happy to welcome and congratulate the organizers, guests and exhibitors on the long-awaited opening of the Food Events Week in the southern capital!

The food industry has been and remains a socially important industry for Kazakhstan. Its enterprises are responsible for processing of agricultural products, food production and food adequacy, regardless of existing quarantine measures. The food industry affects the standard of living of the country's population, which is why the authorities and the antimonopoly service annually stimulate food producers and control the prices of essential goods.

Despite the negative trends caused by the coronavirus pandemic, Almaty managed to finish the past year of 2020 with growth in almost all indicators of socio-economic development, and the food industry was no exception. In the new realities, the issue of food safety, the issue of increasing exports of domestic products, and attracting foreign investment are of particular importance. The need for effective communication and cooperation between all participants in the food chain - the government, manufacturers, industry associations and consumers – to further the effective development of the industry and discuss the most pressing issues is becoming increasingly apparent.

Holding exhibitions of international level in Almaty will allow a large number of professionals to get acquainted with new trends in the industry by demonstrating the latest achievements in food production, packaging and storage.

We wish all the participants and guests of the exhibition successful implementation of their plans, fruitful work and a pleasant stay in our city!

Deputy Head

of the Almaty city Entrepreneurship

and investments administration
