FOODEXPO QAZAQSTAN 2024 EXPERT PROGRAM: INNOVATIONS, TRENDS AND SOLUTIONS FOR DOMESTIC MANUFACTURERS

FROM 13 TO 15 NOVEMBER 2024, ATAKENT KCBC WILL HOST THE CENTRAL EVENT FOR FOOD INDUSTRY PROFESSIONALS, BRINGING TOGETHER LEADING MARKET PLAYERS, INNOVATORS AND EXPERTS FROM KAZAKHSTAN AND ABROAD — THE FOODEXPO QAZAQSTAN 2024 EXHIBITION.

 This year, the exhibition is even more eventful and diverse. And it will provide unique opportunities to exchange experiences, present the latest solutions and form strong business ties. 383 participants from 30 countries will present a wide range of products and advanced technologies for food production: from raw materials and ingredients to automated production lines and innovative packaging equipment. The participants include such industry leaders as CIS Market (Kazakhstan), Cere (Switzerland), Gostol (Slovenia), Fava S.P.A. (Italy), Denozli Ozstar (Turkey), Diosna Dierks & Söhne Gmbh (Germany), Storm Technologies (Kazakhstan), United Trading System (Russia / Kazakhstan), Favorit Techno (Kazakhstan), which testifies to the high significance of the event in the international arena.

The business program of the exhibition includes three days of intensive sessions, seminars, and master classes focused on key issues in the development of the food industry in Kazakhstan. The Food Forum Qazaqstan 2024 program will start on November 13 with a grand opening ceremony and a VIP tour of the exhibition, where honored guests will be able to get acquainted with the variety of products and solutions in the food industry. The official events of the first day will conclude with the Plenary Session “Promotion of the Made in Kazakhstan brand: from internal reforms to international markets” with speakers from the Ministry of Trade and Integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Atameken National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the National Center for Expertise and Certification, QazTrade, KazakhExport, KazBeef, RG Brands, Raimbek Group, the World Bank, and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development. This session will become an important platform for discussing strategies for bringing Kazakhstani products to new markets, increasing competitiveness, and enhancing brand awareness in the global arena. Particular attention will be paid to innovation, technological development and the role of the private and public sectors in export development.

For the first time, Anna Bakurskaya, an expert practitioner in category management and creation of management strategies for companies in the retail and food and beverage industries, will share unique market instruments within the session “Art that brings profit: Assortment management in retail”. This practical seminar will reveal to industry professionals the non-obvious rules for introducing new products to the market and effective assortment management. The seminar “Innovations in freezing and cooling: equipment and methods for preserving the quality of meat and fish products” from Linde Gas will introduce visitors to trendy industry solutions. For specialists wishing to gain a deeper understanding of the latest approaches in the hospitality industry, the Horex Business Forum – a strategic site for discussing current trends and exchanging experience in the HoReCa sector will be held in parallel for all three days.

On the second day, November 14, the Retail Center will begin its work, which will open up opportunities for B2B meetings of suppliers and manufacturers of food and beverages with representatives of retail chains and distributors from Kazakhstan and Central Asia. The content of the business program will also include a business session “Myths when working with chains. Rules for competent entry into chains”, where Anna Bakurskaya will share strategies and advice for successful cooperation with retailers. Participants will consider the main mistakes of suppliers when entering the chain and how to avoid them, as well as useful tips for preparing and entering the market, including myths, life hacks and a checklist for the supplier. The technological session on the topic “Automatic lubrication systems in the food industry, special bearing units for the food industry, lubricants with food approval and Halal certificate” will be dedicated to reducing the cost of maintenance and repair in the food industry due to automatic lubrication systems and maintenance-free bearing units. At the end of the second day, there will be a special business session “How to make AI an assistant in assortment management. Workshop-digest on using AI in work” with Anna Bakurskaya, dedicated to the possibilities of AI in assortment management, where current practices and examples of the effective use of AI in everyday work will be demonstrated. As part of the workshop, participants will be able to create tasks for AI.

The final day of the exhibition, November 15, will be remembered for events aimed at interaction and exchange of experience between domestic and international manufacturers.
