FOODEXPO QAZAQSTAN 2022, CENTRAL ASIA'S LARGEST FOOD EXHIBITION, WILL GATHER OVER 450 EXHIBITORS
FoodExpo Qazaqstan, the 24th Central Asian International Food Industry Exhibition, will be held at the Atakent Exhibition Center on November 2-4, which will gather leaders of food and beverage production lines, manufacturers and equipment suppliers, enable newcomer exhibitors to demonstrate their products to a wider audience of visitors, and discuss trends and prospects for the industry within the business program.
The exhibition will traditionally show a wide range of products in all product categories: from production lines and equipment, including processing, roasting, drying, cold storage, packaging, etc., equipment and products for the restaurant and hotel business, to a wide range of ready-made products and beverages including confectionery, dairy and meat products, snacks and groceries, tea and coffee, as well as supplements and spices. Exhibitors 2022 will include more than 450 companies from 28 countries - Austria, Belarus, Belgium, Bulgaria, Germany, Georgia, Denmark, Israel, India, Indonesia, Iran, Italy, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Netherlands, Poland, Russia, Slovenia, USA, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Turkey, Uzbekistan, France, Czech Republic, Switzerland, Sri Lanka and South Korea.
The exhibition will be presented by 9 national expositions, including a group of companies from Belarus, Germany, Indonesia, the Netherlands, Poland, Russia, USA, Sri Lanka and South Korea under their national flag.
Leading domestic companies, such as Bijan, Elite Food Import, Yakar, KazIr-Agro will traditionally have their own stands, as well as domestic producers such as Empire Group Corporation, EMC Agro and Bakhus JSC will present their products for the first time.
Traditionally, in addition to a wide range of food and beverages in all categories, manufacturers of raw materials, ingredients and equipment will demonstrate the following products at the site:
• ingredients for bakeries, confectionary, dairy, meat production from Belarus, Germany, Kazakhstan, Russia, and South Korea
• technological equipment for the dairy industry, beverage production, fruits and vegetables processing, cheese-making from Poland, UAE, France, Russia, Czech Republic, Russia, Italy, Turkey and others
• equipment for bakery and pastry production will be presented by Rusimex (Russia), Favorit Techno (Kazakhstan), J4 (Czech Republic), Magorex (Poland), Anton Ohlert (Germany), MIWE (Germany), Gostol (Slovenia), etc.
• industrial refrigeration will be presented by Eurocold (Kazakhstan), Akai Trade (Kazakhstan), Igloszron (Poland), Profholod (Russia), IFT Project (Kazakhstan), Cantek (Turkey), City Agro (Russia), etc.
One of the partners of this year's exhibition was aT Korea, a Korean agro-fisheries trade and food association. The exhibition will show products from 15 leading manufacturers from South Korea with its support.
The content of the business program will be full of seminars and master classes from exhibitors. The annual AgriFood Forum Qazaqstan - a series of roundtables on food security and ensuring quality agricultural products - will be held during the exhibition. The relevance of the chosen topic is confirmed by the Food Security Plan for 2022-2024, developed in accordance with the instruction of the Head of State and adopted by the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Taking into account the current geopolitical situation and the lessons learned after the world coronavirus pandemic, the provision of food becomes a top priority. FoodExpo Qazaqstan exhibition provides cooperation of Eurasian markets and expands the geography of business. The program will include a specialized seminar by experts from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development on "FMCG market trends in Eastern Europe - useful things to know for business in Kazakhstan ("Specialize or die")", as well as a practical session "A new reality, a survival guide: logistics, packaging, marketing".
Traditionally, a retail center - direct negotiations of suppliers with retail chains and distributors - will work at the site. This format of interaction was highly demanded in 2021, over 800 b2b meetings were held during the three days of the exhibition.
The exhibition will include FoodExpo Qazaqstan 2022 Best Product, a professional contest and tasting of food and beverages. Companies, whose products received the highest grade, are awarded an Honorary Diploma and a Gold Medal. In 2022, a competent jury will determine the best in the business in 22 categories.
In parallel, AgroWorld Qazaqstan, Horex & Clean Expo Qazaqstan, QazPack and ColdChain Qazaqstan will be held as part of the Food Events Week in Kazakhstan, from 2 to 4 November 2022.
